CONTROLLER’S REPORT
Yes indeed, what a great weekend.
The planning challenges were successfully overcome in both areas with the minimum use of controls, 20 at Carmichael Hill and 23 at Happendon Wood. A variety of control sites and good route choices available meant application throughout each course essential. Competitor feedback confirmed this.
Marcella’s high quality organisation made both events run very smoothly. Thanks to her and her team.
It’s a credit to Tinto OC for staging such a wonderful event in this format, and a superb advert for Scottish orienteering.
