Burnbraes Park "Come and Try It" Event

The first event of 2006 saw several new faces join established club members on a rather chilly morning for a Come and Try it event in Burnbraes Park, Biggar. Three loops were available of increasing difficulty, though all accessible to beginners. The event showed what a family friendly sport orienteering is, with ages ranging from 2 to "active retired" and several dogs joining in the running!
