SOL1 2007

The first SOL fixture of 2007 took place on 4th March at Baluain near Blair Atholl.

Despite a 10 week lay-off with injury Blair Young got the season underway with a win in the Senior Short race well ahead of the opposition. Several other club members had good races, with Trish Carmichael beginning the defence of her title with an excellent second place. Marjory Foreman and Lorna Young took fourth and fifth spots respectively whil in the men's races there was an eight place finish for Dick Carmichael and ninth place for Jason Simpson.

After the event the prizegiving for last year's overall winneres was held. Tinto winners Trish Carmichael (Masters Champion) and Emma Young (Junior Champion) recieved awards from SOA president Ken Daly.
