Twenty-Eighth Tinto Twin 2015

Firpark, Newbigging Night and Day

Controller’s Report
With the Night Event having gone well, it was a pleasant 40 mile Sunday morning drive from Glasgow with no worries on my mind.
On arrival the news that 3 controls - SI boxes and Cables and Padlocks - had been stolen was still difficult to believe in such a pleasant and isolated location. Further more the “Visitors” had also toppled over the toilets.
Needless to say, although still trying to control his understandable anger, Blair co-ordinated the replacement of the missing controls and all went well.
As always it was a pleasure to assist in the delivery of the Annual Tinto Twin and work with Blair. There was a freedom to his planning as it NOT being a SoSOL or a SOl a realistic assessment of the likely numbers featured prominently in the course combinations offered. These worked well and could easily have coped with 100+ but due to OMM and JHI we were short of a few regulars.

Thanks and congratulations to Blair and Marcella for taking on the roles of Planner and Organiser respectively and to everyone else who assisted from TINTo, Ex TINTO or just friends of TINTO.
