Welcome to Altarstone Forest for the 24th Tinto Twin Day Event. Competitors who run at both the night and day events will be eligible to compete for the Tinto Twin Trophies. These are age class Trophies from M/W14A to M/W75L and M/W21S and M35S. Altarstone Forest is a mainly coniferous hillside with a good path network and numerous rock features. Due to some recent felling we have extended the moorland to the north of the area which will be used both night and day. Parking will be on forest tracks adjacent to Registration/Download. Details of the pre-event information

Directions:

Travelling from the North or West, Altarstone is accessed via the A701 from Broughton. The event will be signposted from the middle of the village. From Peebles follow the A72 turning left onto the B712 passing through Stobo village from where the event will be signed.

Courses:

Courses will have Colour names, but to be eligible for the TT Trophies competitors will have to run on the course recommended for their age class.
