World Orienteering Day Wednesday 24 May 2017

The weather was certainly kind for World Orienteering Day this year and the event held in Castlebank Park was enjoyed by 8 Brownie teams and 3 colonies of Beavers with a total of 10 teams. Many thanks to all who attended but special thanks to Marcella.
Castlebank Park, Lanark - Evening Event

Tinto OC are hosting an introductory orienteering activity to be part of World Orienteering Day. A variety of short courses, aimed at juniors, will be offered in the main park area. No previous experience is necessary. Individuals, pairs or groups can take part, navigating their way around a course, using a map and electronic timing equipment.

Castlebank Park is signed from the Westport at the junction with Friars Lane. Parking is available in the park.
